FutsalRVA Developmental Academy
FutsalRVA Developmental Academy (FDA) is a new program offered to all players ages U8-U15 looking to participate in a year-round futsal academy with experienced and qualified coaches. This program will serve as a feeder program to FutsalRVA Academy.
The FDA will heavily focus on player development through improving technical ability, game awareness and tactical decision making. Academy training will provide challenging technical drills, games, and exercises in order to increase confidence and enhance critical foot skills. Training will also build upon the fundamentals of dribbling, decisions under pressure, and passing in a fast paced format. The program is designed to build the foundation for teaching tactical components that will improve the player's understanding of the game.
The FDA will train once per week during club season and twice in the off-season. Each age group will also train for and compete in the FutsalRVA winter league (per coaches recommendation) and also have the opportunity to play additional tournaments and special events (please see below).
FutsalRVA Developmental Academy is open for ANY/ALL players & teams, regardless of their club, level and/or town/city affiliation.
FutsalRVA Developmental Academy Training is designed to complement, not compete with, a player's club soccer training.
Annual Pricing:
- $960 ($80 per month)
- Mentee: $420 ($35 per month) – must be active Mentee each month – Non-Mentee price applies for each month during the period the player is non-active Mentee.
The Annual Fee includes the following:
Training:
March-May & Mid-August to Mid-November – one training day per week on Fridays.
Other periods – two training days per week – one on Fridays and one other during the week. Coaches may call additional sessions as space is available and as needed to prepare for tournaments, league play, friendlies, etc. at no additional cost.
Registration Costs:
Uniform and Training Package – $150.00 due at time of contract signing – includes jersey, shorts, training shirt, hoodie jacket (new players ONLY)
League registration, tournament registration, special events fees – will be calculated per league, tournament, or event based on cost per event/per player and will include coaches’ travel expenses. Fees will be due at time of commitment for event and will be non-refundable.
Annual Payment: The annual fee is due at the time the contract is signed in the form of cash or check. You may chose to fund the fee over 12 months by authorizing monthly automated payments from a bank account or charged to a personal credit card. You may terminate your authorization of automated payments at any time by giving notice at least 30 days before the termination is to take effect. Upon termination of the authorization you will be immediately responsible for the balance due for the Futsal Academy annual fee.
Term: The term of this agreement is 12 months from the date the contract is signed. After 12 months, we will renew the agreement in writing based on mutually agreeable terms.
Termination of Training: No refunds will be given if you decide to terminate your involvement with the Futsal Academy during the term unless approved in writing by management, because of a good and reasonable cause of such termination.
